WHOA! That is gorgeous! Don’t ever cook in it or it will get dirty. Maybe just turn it into a coffee shop or something. xo

Corey YOU ARE FREAKIN AMAZING!!! The cabinets on top of the cabinets!! The pendant lights!! Removing that weird wall! THE RANGE HOOD! THE BRICK WALL! AHHHHHHHH! Obsessed. Knocked it out of the park honey.

I LOVE IT!
All of it. I can’t even articulate all the words I want to say.
You are awesome my friend.

How did you make sure that half wall wasn’t load bearing- I have the same layout but I think that wall supports the upstairs. I really hate that wall! thanks
coreydecker@gmail.com says
I was able to go up in our attic and see what was going on. In this case it was not, it seems as though the major point of the wall was to run the electrical wiring. I had to reroute all of that and put outlets in new places. Definitely a pain in the *ss!

That is gorgeous!! I love it!!

Did you use the cabinets that were already there and just add to them? This. Looks. Amazing!
coreydecker@gmail.com says
You are right, I added to the existing cabinets. I hope to get a tutorial breaking down the process soon!

So Corey, when do I move in? lol Beautiful, inspired choices. I am looking forward to hearing about the odd wall removal… I am making the leap it wasn’t load bearing…. just funk bearing. lol
I never understood why people don’t do cabinets to the ceiling. I hate dusting up there. lol
The pendant lights are wonderful! (I still don’t get the bare any type of bulb fad) :)))
Way to go Corey!!! :)))

OMG, your kitchen is so amazing, I mean just gorgeous, You did an incredible job, I love everything about it . opening it up like that really made a big difference and the colors you chose and the brick, well I don’t think there are enough adjectives to describe it all.
Dianne says
It is gorgeous! I love the colour combination, the brick wall, the lights, the extended cabinets, oh well, I just love everything about your new kitchen!!!
The best thing though is that you took the wall away from the island-opens up the kitchen and making the island one level. Looking forward to tutorials and details.
Would love to come have coffee with you and see it in person-lol!

What kind of crazy is that weird wall about? Sure, it gave a little upper cabinet space and a few switches, but its just a crazy place to put a wall. Totally love what you did. A white/light grey kitchen is nice, just not good for me. The brats, I mean cats, can ruin that in no time flat. Still, beautiful way to make an okay kitchen/great room into a really GREAT room.

Big Wow!!! That is so awesome..high five!
Melisa says
I have SOOOO much room above my cabinets and I wanted to do something that as well. I don’t even know where to start. Great job

It’s absolutely gorgeous! Any chance you could share the name of the granite? It’s gorgeous and have been searching for something similar
coreydecker@gmail.com says
Thanks, I have seen it called a few things. The place we got it called it “super White”, I have also heard it referred to as “Super White”.

Looks AMAZING, Corey!!! That range hood is legit!

Wow, this is beyond amazing! FanTASTIC job! I don’t know how you move so stinking fast! : ) YES YES YES to the all-the-way-to-the-ceiling cabinets! You’ve definitely earned the right to sit back and enjoy it all.
